Sinclair Names Amy Collins General Manager In Syracuse, New York

SYRACUSE, N.Y., July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) announced that Amy Collins has been named General Manager of WSTM-TV (NBC) and WSTQ-LP (CW) in the Syracuse, New York market and will also oversee sales and other non-programming related services of WTVH-TV (CBS) in Syracuse pursuant to a joint sales and shared services agreement. The announcement was made by Steve Marks, Co-Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair's television group.
In making the announcement, Mr. Marks said, "We are excited to have Amy lead the team in Syracuse where she has spent the past 15 years and has developed solid, long-term relationships within the community. She has a proven track record of success in sales management and building strategic business partnerships, which we look forward to expanding."

Ms. Collins has worked at WSTM-TV, WTVH-TV and WSTQ-LP for the past 15 years, most recently as the Vice President of Sales/Director of Sales since 2009. From 2002 to 2009, she was the Local Sales Manager/General Sales Manager at WTVH-TV. Prior to that she was the National Sales Manager at WTVH-TV. From 1999 to 2000, she was an Account Executive at WTVH-TV. Ms. Collins graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from The State University of New York at Oswego and has a Master's of Business Administration from Lemoyne College in New York.
