Tony Chacheres Famous Creole Cuisine has just been honored with the 2014 Telly. The Telly Awards recognize outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials, programs, and video and film productions throughout the world. This one commercial won a total of five Tellys in the awards 35th annual competition
The Tony Chacheres spot was honored in the Local and Regional TV categories for Use of Music and Set Design; and Local TV in the Packaged Goods category. The commercial included an original composition from Grammy-nominated zydeco accordionist, band leader and composer, Geno Delafose.
The commercial was produced by Benedict Advertising & Marketing with offices in Lafayette, Louisiana. The crew did an amazing job bringing the flavor and character of Tony Chacheres Famous Creole Cuisine to viewers, said Benedicts Richard Brauns. Filming in Louisiana using local production and talent gave the spot the authenticity it needed and rightly deserved. Its terrific to find that independent judges felt the same.
