McLoughlin Fiat Highlights New Features in 2015 Fiat 500

Fiat showcased its new features for the 2015 Fiat 500 lineup which was introduced at the 2014 New York International Auto Show held April 18 to April 27.
A new 7-inch high definition TFT (Thin Film Transistor) cluster display permits drivers to observe vehicle statistics and provides several viewing options. Data such as speed, fuel level, Eco index, and trip information among other features can be monitored with the new display.
In McLoughlin Fiats new 500 models, the display screen shows an image of the vehicle and common information such as distance traveled, gas mileage and range. The display also serves as a radio screen and telephone screen, showing information about radio stations and various call information. Models equipped with Rear Park Assist will notice the screen duals as a reverse parking screen.
It was revealed that the Fiat 500 is also available in a Sport mode. This mode features a more aggressively designed TFT display that complements the Sport modes more engaged driving experience. The TFT will be a standard feature on the Sport, Lounge, Turbo and Abarth models, however it will be an option for the Pops base model.
Aside from display screen updates in 2014, McLoughlin Fiat is proud to announce a redesigned center console. In addition to the TFT HD the Fiat 500 now comes with a redesigned center console, which features a new cup holder design. The console also includes an additional located USB port, which is fully integrated with the radio.
Within the audio system, Bluetooth streaming audio is also now available, in addition to the standard Bluetooth phone connectivity.
The Portland Fiat dealer was excited to see that Fiat introduced several new paint color options available for the exterior of the Fiat 500. Colors for the 2015 models include Giallo Moderna Perla (modern pearl yellow), Laser Blu (bright metallic blue), and Billet Argento (billet silver).
