April 17, 2014 --

CHICAGO, April 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Apollo Music Store (AMS) ( launched its groundbreaking music platform where advertising professionals can save money and easily license pre-cleared tracks with a click of a button. AMS lets ad agencies creatives and producers, source music for their commercials. High quality music is curated for their needs on top of being 100% ready to be used.

The ever-increasing media mix creates enormous pressure on ad agencies budgets. The AMS platform will allow agencies to save 80% of their spending on music, while retaining the same high quality they are used to. AMS is the only platform to feature music from high profile artists that is cleared in advance to be used on commercials. The platform features labels and artists such as The Cool Kids, Arts & Crafts, Grammy award winning producers, such as Focus and many more.

AMS's mission is to easily connect advertising professionals with the right music for their next project. Our top priority is to post not only music that has relevance in the ad space but also to save creatives some time and facilitate their work, said Paul Macot, founding partner of Apollo Music Store. The good old licence request and ensuing uncertain negotiation process is no longer compatible with the intense workflow of agencies. That is why AMS went to such great lengths to pre-clear every track it posts on the platform. It makes for more work in advance, but AMS feels it's key to its success, added Philippe-Aubert Messier, CEO of Apollo Music Store.

To celebrate the launch of the new platform, AMS presented an event in Chicago. Hosted by an all-star panel of industry leaders, the participants took part in a live music curation session, delving into todays agency creatives needs and discussing new ways of building relationships. Five-time Grammy Award winning record producer, Steve Lillywhite, was a guest panellist. The event was a glimpse into the fast moving future of music and advertising. AMS is bridging the gap, connecting top-level talent to advertising professionals with the click of a button; they've generated a sustainable business model for artists and advertisers. I was thrilled to be part of this event with such an innovative new company. The music industry is always changing and it's evident that AMS has found a way to keep up with the evolution of both music and advertising, said Steve Lillywhite. The panel also included ad agencies top music supervisors and Creative Directors such as Stump Mahoney (Draft FCB), Morgan Thoryk (McGarry Bowen), Chris Clark and Craig Shparago (Leo Burnett, Creative Director), making this a true all-star assembly.
