DTS Announces DTS-HD Immersive Audio to be Added to DivX Software

CALABASAS, Calif., April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DTS, Inc. (Nasdaq: DTSI), a leader in high-definition audio solutions and audio enhancement technologies, today announced that it is partnering with DivX, an innovator of digital video solutions, to integrate DTS-HD audio encoding and decoding into the upcoming DivX 10 software release. This collaboration introduces the first software product that enables the creation and playback of DivX video, in HEVC up to 4K, featuring DTS-HD audio on both Windows and Mac. In addition to DivX Player and DivX Converter supporting DTS-HD audio, the latest version of DivX Web Player will also support video streaming with DTS-HD audio to any web browser.
