CEO of Oxford City Football Club, Inc. Thomas Anthony Guerriero, Signs Josh O'Hanlon From Championship Side AFC Bournemouth
March 25, 2014 --
Deerfield Beach, FL (PRWEB) March 25, 2014
Oxford City are pleased to announce the loan signing of Josh O'Hanlon from championship side AFC Bournemouth. Cherries manager Eddie Howe described O'Hanlon as one for the future with real potential when he signed the 18-year-old Dubliner from League of Ireland side Longford Town in January.
OHanlon signed a three-and-a-half year deal, having impressed Howe and his staff during a trial at Dean Court with the Cherries seeing off competition from a host of other clubs for his services. OHanlon, who also had a trial with Manchester United, had been tracked by Crystal Palace, Burnley, Reading and Peterborough United with AFC Bournemouth paying around £50,000 to sign him.
He netted 7 times in 30 appearances for Longford as they finished runners-up to Athlone Town in Division One of the League of Ireland last season. O'Hanlon is expected to be in City's squad for the vital game at Leamington tonight.
