ViewSat Looking to Sign up OTT Streaming Partners at CABSAT 2014
Company will use the event as a platform to highlight its content distribution capabilities in North America

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: ViewSat, a global provider of broadcast services for television and radio channels, today announced its participation at CABSAT, the Middle East and Africa's largest broadcast digital media and satellite expo, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from the 11th to the 13th of March, 2014. The company, which last year doubled its regional broadcast capacity and channel count, offers broadcast services throughout Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America and hopes to sign partnerships with over-the-top (OTT) streaming partners at the event while simultaneously building upon its relationships with existing partners and customers.

At CABSAT, the company also intends highlight its expertise in enabling regional customers expand their content distribution into new markets such as North America. Through its partnership with Intelsat, the company has secured capacity on the Galaxy 19 satellite, permitting its customers to target an audience of over 7 million viewers in North America. With this service reaching 33% of all U.S. Farsi speakers and 28% of all U.S. Arab speakers, ViewSat is keen to help its regional customers tap into this huge area of opportunity.
As a celebration of the company's success in North America and to commemorate the 20th anniversary of CABSAT, the broadcast specialist will host daily prize draws.
