New Health Care Technology Company Emerges In Iowa

Prime Logic Partners and Prairie Lakes Technology Park have merged to form a new companyKailo LLC, DBA Kailo Healthcare Technologies. Founders of the new company are Mark Kittrell, Mark Stewart and Trevor Hendrickson.

Kailo has an aggressive vision to build innovative products and solutions built on traditional information technology services, says Stewart, co-founder and chief technology officer at Kailo.

Hendrickson, co-founder and chief marketing officer, sees Kailos solutions benefiting the patient in the end. Mark Kittrell
Mark Kittrell is an IT professional and serial entrepreneur who has been involved in numerous technology startups in his 25+ year career. Currently he is the development leader at TEAM Companies, a regional data center developer/operator he co-founded in 2003. Since that time the company has embarked on a regional expansion (with properties in Madison, WI, and Des Moines, IA) and has twice been listed on the Inc. 500 list of Americas fastest growing companies.

He is also very involved in both regional economic development activities and the IT industry, having served as officer/director for numerous organizations, including: Iowa Innovation Council, Technology Association of Iowa, Technology Commercial Committee, University of Iowa Research Foundation among many others.

Trevor Hendrickson
Trevor Hendrickson is a serial entrepreneur is the founder of several technology related marketing companies and products. Trevor has a vast array of experience in the field of marketing and brand development in regulated industries. His clients have included more than 200 financial institutions, McDonalds Restaurants and Pepsi Foods of Canada, Target, and AT&T, among many others. A graduate of the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy, Trevor received his FCC broadcasting license at the age of 15; started his first company at 20; directed a series of short films for Seattle based SLAM MEDIA; developed Flash applications and websites for clients throughout North America; has created award winning presentations, print pieces, and website designs. Trevor consults with healthcare start-ups and financial institutions providing marketing guidance and is currently working on a marketing book tentatively titled, Go Bold or Go Home.

Mark Stewart
With more than 30 years in the technology and real estate industries, Mark specializes in data center construction and operations, with a focus in the healthcare sector. His past experience includes being Co-Founder and COO of TEAM Companies, a regional colocation and wholesale data center provider. TEAM was a 3-time Inc. 500 recipient with facilities in Cedar Falls and Des Moines, IA, as well as Madison, WI. TEAM was sold to TDS in December of 2010. Mark has a BS in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, and has obtained the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS) certification from the HIMSS group.
