Michigan Lupus Foundation Texas Hold 'Em Tournament Raises Thousands for Lupus Support, Education & Research

The Michigan Lupus Foundation hosted the 6th Annual Dan McCarty Texas Hold Em Poker Tournament this past Tuesday, March 19th. The event was held at Star Lanes at Emagine Theater in Royal Oak, and over 150 people were in attendance for the fundraiser. 118 players participated in the Tournament which generated one eventual champion, as well as thousands of charitable dollars earmarked for lupus support, education, and research to find a cure for this devastating disease.
In addition to the Tournament, this fundraiser offered bowling, pool, shuffle board, and refreshments for all in attendance to enjoy. Prizes were provided by great local sponsors, and the Michigan Lupus Foundation would like to congratulate the tournaments top 3 finishers:
