LiveExercise.com Launches Playtime, Online Kids Exercise Designed to Get the Whole Family Moving

LiveExercise.com, the market leader for online workout programs, has launched Playtime, an online kids exercise show designed to fight childhood obesity by getting the entire family moving. Playtime offers exercise routines designed for kids ages 6 and up.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, The percentage of children aged 611 years in the US who are obese has increased from 7% in 1980 to nearly 20% in 2008. To combat this rise in obesity the President has launched the Lets Move initiative; a national movement focused on raising a healthier generation of kids. LiveExercises contribution to this growing movement is the launch of Playtime, an online kids exercise program.

Aaron Stapleton, an experienced childrens gymnastics instructor and a veteran in kids exercise programs, hosts LiveExercises Playtime shows. Playtime is designed to give kids a fun platform for learning the benefits of exercise. Split into two shows to appeal to different age groups; Playtime Rookies is for children ages 6-9, while Playtime Pros is for children ages 9+. Each episode packs in entertaining exercises within a time frame that will keep a child engaged; 30 minutes.

Playtimes first 13 kids exercise shows have already been released. LiveExercise plans to launch two new Playtime episodes each week and to add children co-hosts. Playtime is accessible from any internet browser by visiting Liveexercise.com and is now available on Roku Streaming Devices.
