GetZENtv, a new online portal, aims to build better lives through positivity, providing meaningful content and an enlightening experience to viewers
July 30, 2014 --
CULVER CITY, Calif., July 30, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- GetZENtv is a new online portal aiming to help viewers cut down on the pollution they ingest through negative programming and harmful media by creating an experience of enlightenment through videos and blogs dedicated to conscious giving, living and loving.
"We never have so little that we don't have enough to share," said GetZENtv founder and CEO Sylvia Del Anderson, and that is exactly what the organization aims to do share meaningful programming and information. The portal was inspired by the original web series GetZEN dedicated to exploring the many ways available for viewers to find inner peace, connect with those around them, rediscover how to live, and even care for the environment. GetZENtv builds on that concept through a broad range of additional content and programing, including:
- Millions of Ripples, focusing on random acts of kindness and paying it forward
- You're Appreciated, highlighting the acts of selfless individuals
- Got Greenz?, which features delicious vegan recipes
- FitZEN, featuring tons of fitness videos
- PetZEN, dedicated to animal welfare
- ZENful, featuring spoken mediations by Debra Wilson of MADtv
- Zen Toys, which brings the fun of toys to viewers of all ages
From wellness and health to environmental issues, animal welfare and humanitarian issues, GetZENtv enlightens, educates, informs and entertains, breaking the mold of negativity and pessimism that permeates today's society. However, the organization cannot do it alone. To that end, GetZENtv has announced the official launch of its Kickstarter campaign.
The ambitious project seeks to raise $25,000 by August 16 that will be used to fund programming, hosting and other costs associated with maintaining the portal. Rewards range from eco-friendly toothbrushes to water bottles, t-shirts, free advertising, and even personal fitness training sessions with Corinne Van Ryck de Groot. Pledge amounts range from $10 to $2,000.
