Waco, Texas (PRWEB) December 05, 2013
This New Years Eve is going to rock in a whole new way, with New Years Impact a 5-hour concert and ministry event featuring todays top Christian artists, broadcast live online to churches, youth groups and viewers around the world.
Live from Nashville, the event features major Christian artists including Lecrae, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, Natalie Grant, Tenth Avenue North, Brandon Heath, Sidewalk Prophets, Shane & Shane, Derek Minor and KB.
West, a recent AMA Award winner (Favorite Contemporary Inspirational Artist), joins Mike Weaver of Big Daddy Weave as hosts for the event, which also features speaker David Nasser and illusionist Justin Flom.
Im thrilled to be part of this great evening of celebration, worship and challenge as we look to the new year, said West, who will perform during the evening in addition to hosting. What a wonderful ministry opportunity for churches to gather together and commit to making an impact, not just another resolution.
New Years Impact is produced by Texas-based Blue Scout Media, a video and technology services company specializing in live event production and streaming of concerts, conferences, and other major events. The Blue Scout Media team created New Years Impact as a ministry to challenge Christians to make an Impact in the lives of those around them, and as a tool for churches to reach their community.
We have a deep passion and commitment to Christ and the mission of the church in our world, said Blue Scout Media President and CEO Jay Powers. We have worked with many major Christian artists, and we have a great technology platform for broadcasting events online. Impact will be one of the largest faith-based gatherings of any kind, and were excited about the work we know God will do through this event.
Major event sponsors and partners include World Vision, Pepsi Mid-America, AntiochLIVE, I Am Second, Simply Youth Ministry and The Salvation Poem.
New Years Impact has the potential to reach millions of people who may not know the impact a relationship with Christ can have in their personal lives, said Pepsi Mid-America CEO Lee Crisp, whose company has worked with several major Christian artists and tours. I cant think of a more appropriate way to dedicate the New Year for Christ and use this opportunity to respond to Gods call.
The event is scheduled for 7 p.m.-midnight (CST) on New Years Eve from Allen Arena at Nashvilles Lipscomb University. Viewers can watch online for free at http://www.newyearsimpact.com. Churches and other groups are encouraged to create gatherings based around the concert, whether in church facilities or private homes, and the event will be viewable on most computers, tablets, mobile devices and set-top boxes. Event shirts are available for sale on the Impact web site, with group discounts provided.
Tickets to the show in Nashville are available online at http://www.ticketsnashville.com or from the Allen Arena Box Office at (615) 966-7075. For more information about New Years Impact, please visit http://www.newyearsimpact.com.
