The Salt Lake Tribune Home and Garden Festival emerges just in time for spring clean up. Over 500 local home construction, design, and landscaping companies provide inspiration and direction for any ongoing or future projects. Home Show goers can participate in a number of valuable seminars and cooking demonstrations and explore the 25,000 square feet of backyard landscapes. This season is the perfect time to renew, refresh, and restore the spaces in and around the home.
NATIONAL TV CELEBRITY PRESENTATIONS
Chip Wade of HGTVs newest series Elbow Room is a master carpenter and home renovator. He understands how to transform the rooms in a home to fit any family and any lifestyle. At the Home Show, he is eager to answer the toughest audience questions and share his solutions to common renovation problems. Chip Wades presentations are on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10.
LOCAL EXPERTS
Joy Bossi is a featured guest on ABC4s Good Things Utah, gardening consultant, and bestselling author who has made a name for herself through her garden expertise. At the Home Show, Bossi demonstrates how simple growing fresh produce and herbs can be. Bossi is on the Garden Stage on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9.
Steve and Katie Hatch are well known for their top-quality, hand-dipped chocolate confections from Salt Lake Citys Hatch Family Chocolates. However, they quickly rose to national fame when TLC introduced the television series Little Chocolatiers.
The Hatch duo is on the SelectHealth Kitchen Stage to demonstrate their sweet treats on Saturday, March 9.
Opal Design Group is a young, creative design team based in Utah. Jen Adair and Jana Romney, co-founders of Opal Design, offer a distinctive and fresh perspective to every home project. Designers from Opal Design Group are available to provide personalized advice to Home Show guests at the Ask a Designer Booth throughout the weekend.

NEW TO THE SPRING HOME SHOW
This year, Home Show guests have the opportunity to win a custom-made Amici brick oven, valued at $2,320, from Belgard Hardscapes. In addition to the brick oven, guests can register to win a fire pit kit, valued at $210; a brick oven cooking kit, valued at $265; and a pallet of pavers, valued at $500.
New to the Garden Stage is the Living Wall, a 12-foot tall exhibit comprised of three panels of succulent varieties. In total, this impressive wall holds 1,500 living plants and is on display throughout the weekend.
