The Natural Sapphire Company Announces Their Thanks to Becks Brewery for Spike in Website Visits
February 04, 2013 --
New York, NY (PRWEB) February 04, 2013
During the broadcast of Sundays Super Bowl XLVII, The Natural Sapphire Company saw an incredible spike in the number of people visiting their website. The companys web analysts saw this spike occur just after the debut of the Becks Sapphire beer commercial, which was voted one of the evenings favorite commercials by Super Bowl fans. Presumably, there was a massive surge of beer drinking sports fans who rushed to their computers after the black bottle commercial ran, and many found themselves looking at actual sapphires instead of the new beer.
Evan Guttman, CIO for The Natural Sapphire Company noted that, due to the overwhelming number of fans clicking on our website, our server buckled under the load. But luckily, when the lights came back on and fans returned to watching the game, we all breathed a sigh of relief. If we can survive the Super Bowl, we can survive anything.
The Natural Sapphire Company has no connection to Becks Brewing Company, though they appreciate the extra attention the new beer drew to their website. The team of gemologists at the nearly 75 year old New York sapphire and jewelry company were a bit concerned about the new beers black and red label, with one Paul Vermylen stating Sapphires arent red thats a ruby on the bottle! but after drinking a few of them, the gemological error was found to be inconsequential.
