Shaw Communications Adds Canadian Golfer and Web.com Tour Star Adam Hadwin

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/30/14 -- As part of its commitment to supporting emerging Canadian golfers, Shaw Communications (TSX: SJR.B)(NYSE: SJR) today announced it has partnered with breakout Web.com Tour player Adam Hadwin. This agreement will see Hadwin feature Shaw's logo on his right sleeve and golf bag as he takes the field at this week's Nova Scotia Open, July 3-6 at Ashburn Golf Club, New Course in Halifax and continuing through all tournaments he participates in within this calendar year.

Currently sitting in sixth position on the 2014 Web.com Tour money list, Hadwin is well positioned to finish the season in the top 25, which would secure his first-ever PGA TOUR card for the 2014-2015 season.
A standout amateur golfer in British Columbia, Hadwin played in his first PGA TOUR event in 2010 - the RBC Canadian Open - where he went on to capture the Rivermead Cup as the tournament's top Canadian, a feat he would repeat in 2011.
