SatLink to present new OTT innovations for personalised TV Everywhere capabilities at IBC 2014

SatLink Communications, a global teleport, internet delivery, HD playout and content management services provider, will be debuting its latest innovative End-to-End (E2E) OTT cloud solution, which will enable broadcasters to offer subscribers the very best of TV with immediate access to personalised content anytime, anywhere and on any device at IBC 2014 on Stand 5.A17.
The new end-to-end OTT solution, designed for broadcasters and operators will offer a full Telco grade broadcasting experience from the creation of new feeds through to the transcoding, live content streaming and management tools, for a seamless simple, friendly and fun user experience across all devices. Maximising Satlink's global access to content and unique aggregation capabilities with the most innovative technology through a pay-per-service model, the new E2E OTT cloud solution was developed to meet growing customer demands and generate new revenue streams for broadcasters. The solution will enable broadcasters, such as sports, movies, lifestyle or ethnic content owners, to offer live and VOD content to their subscribers via a cost effective and interactive cloud based service platform. With the ability to launch a managed service via the cloud within days, subscribers will be able to receive personalised content via both an application and Set Top Box's (STB) based on their preferences with interactive content options, endless TV alike features and new monetisation capabilities.
During IBC SatLink will also offer special promotions on its new Hotbird DVB-S2 platform, in co-operation with Sky Italia, and AsiaSat 5 DVB-S2 satellite platform to aid international broadcasters looking to expand their reach into new TV markets in Europe and Asia.
