DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: Sennheiser Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of microphones, headphones and wireless transmission systems, together with vendor partner K-Array, Italian manufacturers of ultra-compact, portable and powerful speaker solutions, will be hosting two seminars covering live and installed sound during the InfoComm/GITEX week, on 22 and 23 October, 2013, at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai.
The seminar on 22 October will feature installed sound elements and there will be a demonstration of K-array's flexible, array element speaker, the Anakonda KAN200 and the KZ10, an ultra-miniaturized line-array element. The second seminar on 23 October will feature K-Array's live sound products, including the company?s revolutionary Concert Series speaker and subwoofer range. There will be a demonstration of the KH4, hi-tech, self-powered PA system and line-array element and its complementary KS4 dipole subwoofer.
Mr. Mig Cardamone, Sales and Marketing Manager, Sennheiser Middle East says, "K-Array is known worldwide for its revolutionary speaker technology. As the local partner for the brand in the Middle East, we decided that it would be best for regional customers and partners to get a hands-on experience of the brand by hosting these seminars, which will be conducted by Francesco Maffei, the Product Specialist from K-array. Besides demonstration of the products, the event provides us with the opportunity of getting valuable market information and inputs which will help us design solutions that cater to the specific needs of the regional market."
The new K-array Anakonda KAN200 is an innovative, flexible array that unlocks new possibilities for nontraditional applications where a usual speaker box can't be employed, but where good intelligibility, ultra-reliability and a sleek design are required. It is the perfect fit for any distributed sound application. Its dedicated presets allow KAN200s to serve as a flexible PA system - either standalone or combined with K-array subwoofers. The KZ10 is a remarkable ultra-micro line array designed for discreet use in a variety of situations such as restaurants, bars, museums etc. The system delivers long throw and coherent coverage making it ideal for use in space constrained situations. This miniature slim column is a mere 1.7cm deep and delivers true crystal clear audio with an amazing output of 92dB continuous which is remarkable from such a miniscule enclosure.
The K-array KH4 is a high performance self-powered, 2-way line array speaker system. At just over 51 Kg (113.32 lb) and 16 cm deep (6 inches), its ultra-compact aluminum enclosure contains an incredible reserve of power that ensures very high sound pressure, with wide consistent (120 degree) horizontal coverage. It has the unique capability for varying the vertical coverage from 7 degree (line array applications) to 37 degree (stand-alone). The KH4 is suited for medium to long throw applications in theaters, stadiums, houses of worship and concert halls. The KH4 integrated with the KS4 self-powered dipole subwoofer, creates a high performance large scale solution.
K-array partners in Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and U.A.E. are offered a complimentary invitation to the seminar.
