Clear-Com Showcases New Intercom Products at ITC 2013
October 21, 2013 --
Clear-Com will show its latest range of intercom solutions at ITC 2013 (Booth #428). The company will introduce its new Eclipse HX-Delta Digital Matrix System, ICON Connectivity Solutions, and RS-700 Series Analog Partyline Beltpacks. It also plans to highlight updates to its HelixNet Partyline Intercom System and Tempest Wireless Intercom System.
"At Clear-Com, we are constantly developing communication systems that allow our users to have a more efficient workflow," says Craig Frederickson, Product Manager at Clear-Com. "Our latest set of intercoms give users increased speed, capacity and scalability. With hundreds of high quality products in our portfolio, customers can design communication infrastructures for the management and deployment of telemetry applications."
The recently introduced Eclipse HX-Delta digital matrix system brings the high capacity of Clear-Com's larger matrices to a compact, cost-effective 3RU frame. Three internal slots for interface modules allow the HX-Delta to integrate with other third-party communication devices, such as telephones, two-way radios and IP networks. The HX-Delta also comes with two CPU cards for redundant system control. All Eclipse HX intercoms are capable of supporting thousands of audio and user connections. The line now provides new capabilities including Ethernet/IP Intelligent Trunking with IVC-32-HX card redundancy for long distance connectivity.
The reliable RS-700 Series Analog Partyline Beltpacks have an ergonomic and durable design that is meant for the demanding rigors of everyday use. Ultra-durable thermoplastic and elastomer material casing gives the tough beltpack its extra resistance against high impact, chemical and abrasion damages. Recessed tactile controls and bright LED indicators make the beltpacks easy to operate even in dark environments. High headroom, low-noise audio and superior contoured audio enable them to deliver the industry-leading, crystal-clear "Clear-Com Sound". The rugged beltpacks also require a lower operating current for additional beltpack drops and are fully compatible with Encore Partyline, PL Pro and TW Partyline.
The new family of ICON Connectivity Solutions is a collection of communications products that link local or globally distributed intercom systems over Ethernet/IP networks and/or optical fiber. ICON, which stands for "Intercom CONnectivity," provides high performance solutions for reliable and secure connections on common infrastructures and is also cost-effective for scalable multi-system networks.
The latest version of HelixNet Partyline provides a multi-system linking capability over Ethernet and fiber to permit a more sophisticated and cost-effective digital partyline intercom network. This function enables the distribution of many digital partyline channels, program audio feeds and auxiliary interfaced audio over a single microphone cable to a digital beltpack user. Enabling the system linking capability are two modules: the HLI-ET2 Ethernet Module, for Main Station-to-Main Station networking over a LAN (Local Area Network), and the HLI-FBS Fiber Module, for daisy-chaining fiber interfaces to link Main Stations over long distances.
Further developments to the Tempest Digital Wireless Intercoms include the new CCT-RT-EX Remote Line Extender for the Tempest CCT-RT transceiver as well as Tempest2400 Seamless Roaming feature. The CCT-RT-EX Remote Line Extender is used to increase the maximum distance between a Tempest BaseStation and the Remote Antenna Transceiver. The Tempest2400's Seamless Roaming feature allows Tempest2400 BeltStation users to move freely between as many as 16 different BaseStations (coverage areas or zones) without interference or dropouts. These further extend Tempest's wireless communications capabilities for RF-heavy environments.
