Celebs suit up for DirecTV Beach Bowl

Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Montana, Jordin Sparks suit up and take part in celeb beach bowl

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) ' Before the big game, there was another game to be had in the city ' DirecTV's Celebrity Beach Bowl.

Hall of Famers Deion Sanders, Barry Sanders and Joe Montana joined celebrities like David Arquette, Neil Patrick Harris and Jordin Sparks at the event on Saturday. Others in attendance included Peyton Manning, Cam Newton and Chace Crawford.

Harris was an assistant coach on Montana's team, but he didn't take the competition that seriously. He admitted that he didn't quite know what kind of football they'd even be playing.

His lackadaisical approach differed from his teammate. Montana said he hates to lose and he wanted to win.

The Beach Bowl has been held before the Super Bowl for the last several years.
