Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) January 08, 2013
According to the latest statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, there are an estimated 140 million Americans who spend more than two hours per day in their vehicles, with 50 minutes dedicated to commute time alone. Due to this growing trend, todays content providers are looking for driver-friendly solutions to deliver their content to their customers.
Kaliki has partnered with Aha by Harman to provide audio content to Acura, Honda, Porsche and Subaru vehicles. Using the Harman Cloud Platform and the free Aha Radio app, Aha organizes content from the Web into personalized radio stations that consumers can listen to from anywhere, including the car. Through this partnership, Ahas interactive service will allow audio content provided by Kaliki to be available to the driver at the touch of a preset button, just like radio.
We understand what it takes to provide large scale audio production and distribution to customers, says Tirrell Payton, CEO of BT Software, Kaliki, Its all about the point of consumption: Kaliki helps publishers transform their content and engage their customers. Kaliki helps customers get the content that they want at the point of consumption in the vehicle.
For drivers in Ford vehicles equipped with Ford Sync AppLink, Kaliki provides voice-over services within the USA TODAY application, as well as within its own Kaliki Audio Newsstand app.
Also available for Ford Sync drivers is Kalikis own Kaliki Audio Newsstand. For the Audio Newsstand, Kaliki partners with the top publishers in a wide variety of genres such as American Media Inc.s Shape Magazine, TV Guide, Mens Fitness, OK!, and Agence France-Presse. For Ford SYNC drivers, the user speaks the name of the publication, and its instantly ready for playback. The driver has access to all the content with Kaliki, without ever touching the phone.
Were very excited to be part of the Kaliki Audio Newsstand, said American Medias Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Hyson, As the leading publisher of celebrity and health & fitness content, AMI brands like Shape, Mens Fitness, OK! and Star are available across multiple platforms and Kaliki provides another innovative way for us to place our content in every Ford vehicle equipped with Ford SYNC.
