LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --AXS TV continues its commitment to being TV's home for live music festivals, announcing today that it will be the official broadcaster of the 2014 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. The network has acquired the rights to air the Festival live, for the second consecutive year with StubHub returning as the Official Broadcast Partner.
Presenting its 45th annual Festival, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festivalor Jazz Festis a wildly popular event that attracts over 400,000 visitors each year, as some of music's biggest names come together to celebrate the culture and passion of the Big Easy. AXS TV will be on-site at Jazz Fest, with plans to telecast over 24 hours of live coverage from Thursday, May 1 through Sunday, May 4. This is an historic undertaking for both the network and the Festival, as it will be the first four-day live music broadcast in television history. The complete dates of the 2014 Jazz Fest are April 25 May 4.
