The acquisition of the latest dual-gauge Northlight will also give us the additional flexibility to scan from 16mm with the same unparalleled image quality.” The first Northlight scanner at Lipsync is currently engaged on two major film projects. ‘Brothers Grimm,’ Terry Gilliam's latest $75 million feature for MGM starring Matt Damon and Heath Ledger will have over 700 effects shots scanned. The lab is also currently working on ‘Five Children and It,’ a fantasy feature starring Kenneth Branagh and Eddie Izzard. Lipsync Post co-founder Peter Hampden concludes, “The completion of our digital lab marks an important stage in the company’s development. Complementing our investments in audio and graphics, the lab ensures that we can provide an all-embracing solution for our clients – from storyboard to the presentation and distribution of the finished material.” About FilmLight Ltd FilmLight was formed in 2002 by the technical R&D team from The Computer Film Company (CFC).
