Stand-Out TV Promos
Mr. Lee and Spike TV ‘Do the Right Thing’

original series launch: Spike TV
Mr. Lee and Spike TV 'Do the Right Thing'

Women have Lifetime, WE and Oxygen, now men have Spike TV. After settling out-of-court with celebrity roadblock Spike Lee, the director’s non-namesake is now on the air. MTV Networks’ latest cable entry dedicated entirely to all things male, Spike TV will launch three original new animated series with men in mind.

In a three-phased promo campaign seamlessly combining live action backgrounds and original animation characters, viewers are introduced to each series and the stars who voice them; Kelsey Grammer as a sleazy lawyer in “Gary the Rat,” Pamela Anderson as a pole-dancer turned superhero in “Stripperella,” plus an all-new adult version of “Ren & Stimpy.” Spot-on writing, studded with fart jokes, sexist humor and a parody of Hollywood studio execs, will surely have the male half of the couch potato species coming back for more.
